Jie Cheng is the Global Vice President and Head of Digital Commerce at Mondelēz International, based in Chicago. Since joining Mondelēz during the height of the pandemic, Jie has led the transformation of the snack giant’s digital commerce practice, more than quadrupling its business to $3 billion and continuing to grow. With a passion for consumer-centric growth and digital commercial excellence, she is responsible for driving Mondelēz’s long-term digital commerce vision across the organization worldwide.
With a 25-year career in the FMCG industry and beyond, Jie has operated across different regions and diverse cultures, holding leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies including Philips, Danone, Campbell Soup, and Hershey. Born in Zhejiang, China, Jie studied and taught at Wuhan University before moving to the United States in 1998 to pursue her MBA at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
